Winstanly, Wigan, late 1800 century mahogany longcase grandfather clock. Beautifully crafted with a rich figured mahogany case and elegant swan-neck pediment finished with brass eagle finial. The case is enhanced by fluted columns with gilt capitals, decorative fretwork beneath the hood, and superb flame mahogany door panels showcasing the natural beauty of the timber. The impressive brass and silvered arch dial features Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, moonphase arch, and an eight-day movement with traditional Westminster chimes. Complete with its original weights, pendulum and winding key.
